 Volunteering

There are many different ways to get involved in the life of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.  These include

  • Joining and supporting our Parent Group, the PTFA
  • Supporting the children with reading in both KS1 and KS2
  • Joining educational visits
  • Working as a volunteer ‘Non-Teaching Assistant’
  • Sharing talents or expertise by running or supporting an afterschool club, e.g. gardening, netball
  • Walking with the school to Mass
  • Joining our School Masses, Liturgies and Penitential Services whether held in the school hall or at church
  • Helping with particular events, e.g. Sports Day
  • Speaking at Collective Worships
  • Giving a talk to a particular class or sharing a skill

If you are interested in volunteer work at St Joseph’s please speak initially to your child’s class teacher or contact the Deputy Headteacher on office@stjosephs.w-berks.sch.uk

St Joseph’s is committed to Safeguarding the welfare of all pupils; therefore all regular volunteers are subject to DBS clearance.
