DAY THREE - Friday 5th May 2023

Getting ready to say goodbye to Oakwood...what a lovely time we have all had.smiley

It might be our last day but before we left we still had lots of activities planned, Jacobs ladder, Z walk and bushcraft

DAY TWO - Thursday 4th May 2023

A good long nights sleep was had by all last night, but what a busy day we have all had!! After a very big breakfast, the activities started again at 9.30am today with mountain boarding , high ropes , indoor climbing wall and the leap of faith.

Bruno - ''We had to climb up a very tall pole and we had to jump down and try and reach a trapeze. It was very scary but it was a lot of fun''

Edward ''I liked the rock climbing because I could get to the top but the scary thing today was the high rope because we had to climb right to the top and touch the metal bar''

George R '' We went on the high ropes and we had to climb up the big climbing frame and then when you got really high you could either do the obstacle course or you could jump off. After that we did the leap of faith where you climb up a big tower and when you get to the top of the tower you jump off. We then went mountain boarding and put a big skateboard on your feet and strapped it round and then you take it up a big hill and go zooming down the hill, then we had a break and I played chess with Kryssy''

Olive '' I feel like I liked the Leap of Faith. I liked it because you could jump off and you are dangling in the air like you are flying sort of.''

What a brilliant first day! After arriving at about 9.30am we jumped straight into our first activities, including low ropes, crate stacking and orienteering. After a quick pit stop lunch the fun continued with even more activities, archery. The day finished with a BBQ and campfire and the children are now getting ready to go to bed.

They have been a credit to the school, to you and to themselves and we all looking forward to a good nights sleep ready for a fun day tomorrow.
