School Council

The importance of our School council cannot be underestimated!

Together the children help to provide a voice for the whole school, asking and relaying answers to important questions, to ensure that everyone gets their opinion taken into consideration - particularly the children.

They are involved in selecting key roles for Year Six, listening to presentations and helping to make important decisions, which affect the whole school. When special visitors are in the school it is often School council that help to answer their questions.

School council take pride in helping to raise money for the school, so far successfully making and running a stall at the Christmas Fayre and are in the process of raising money by organising another fun run – which previously raised over 200 pounds. As well as, creating Easter treats to sell at the end of the Spring term!

Although we meet every other week, when needed we increase these meetings to enable us to meet deadlines.
