Y4 PGL Liddington 3rd May - 5th May 2017

We have arrived

Year 4 have arrived at Liddington..!!

When we arrived we met our PGL leader Ryan and were taken straight to our rooms to unpack. We have lovely big rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

After having our lunch Ryan gave us a grand tour of the PGL Liddington site……it is huge!!

We then split into three groups to start our first activity. Group 1 tackled archery first while Group 2 started with Quad biking. Group 3 had the chance at challenge course. We all had great fun at our first activity.

''Quad biking was fun. We had to wear a helmet and protective gloves and goggles'' Rebecca Poynter

After a lovely dinner together we had our evening activity camp fire, where we all sang funny songs, listened to stories told by Ryan. We were all really tired and ready for bed but can't for day two.

DAY 2

After a good nights sleep, we were ready for the start of day two. We were treated to a lovely filling breakfast of cereals, full english breakfast and lots of fruit. Full up and raring to go we made our way to our activities for the day, Crate stacking, climbing wall, survivor skills and Jacobs ladder.

''Jacobs ladder is very high. We had to work as a team to make our way up higher. I was a little bit scared but we had a harness so we were perfectly safe and it was really fun'' Franklin Matthews.

'' The climbing wall was brilliant because we got to go very high. I managed to reach the top of the tower and rang the bell. I felt relieved that I had made it. We then got to abseil down the tower which was fun too.'' Aleyna Caner

We ended the day with a disco, DJ Mcveigh led the dancing moves and we all had a good boogie.
